We are pleased to announce exciting news that Mrs. Avery Hower, JTAHS Assistant Principal, has been selected for a Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellowship. This fellowship includes 45 educators from across the state to help shape education policy focusing on building students' reading skills to strengthen the Pennsylvania workforce and the all important funding system for Pennsylvania's public schools. These goals fit into the JTASD comprehensive plan's reading goals and this fellowship gives JT a voice in Harrisburg. We are proud to have Mrs. Hower represent JTASD in this important effort.
