District-wide Testing Schedule 2022 - 2023

September 2022 

  • Sept. 19th - Sept. 30th: 

    • K-1 STAR Early Literacy Testing 

    • 2-8 STAR Reading & Math Testing (Results used for Quarter 1 AR, RTII, Title I and formative classroom instruction.  Upon completion of testing, individual learning paths will be generated for each student via “Exact Path”.)

    • Exact Path Diagnostic High School students enrolled in Alg. I or Alg. IA

October 2022

  • Oct. 3rd - Oct. 14th:  

    • High School & LB/PK Grade 8 Algebra I students - CDT Testing

  • Oct. 12th:

    • JTAHS–PSATs

  • Oct. 17th  - Oct. 28th: 

    • LB & PK Study Island Benchmark Testing for 3rd - 8th (Math and ELA): Please note, both buildings do not need to stagger their testing.  Study Island is not purchased based on a limited number of licenses. 

November 2022

  • Oct. 31st - Nov. 4th: 

    • Study Island Benchmark Testing for HS Literature &  HS Biology

  • Grade level meetings to analyze benchmarking data at all buildings

  • Quarter 2 Assessment (Q2 begins November 10th)

    • K-1 STAR Early Literacy

    • 2-8 STAR Reading & Math Testing (Results used for Quarter 2 AR, RTII, Title I and formative classroom instruction. Upon completion of testing, individual learning paths will be generated for each student via “Exact Path”.)

  • November 9th:

    • Kindergarten Entry Inventory (KEI) completion deadline

December 2022

  • Dec. 5th - 16th: Keystones Wave #1--online testing

    • HS ELA Grades 10 - 12 

    • HS Biology Grades 10 - 12

    • Exact Path Diagnostic High School students enrolled in Alg. I or Alg. IA 

January 2023

  •  Jan. 4th  - Jan. 18th:  Keystones Wave #2 

    • HS Algebra I: Grades 9 - 12 

  •  WIDA ACCESS (English proficiency for ELLs) test window  

  • Quarter 3 Assessment (Q3 begins January 26th)

    • K-1 STAR Early Literacy

    • 2-8 STAR Reading & Math Testing (Results used for Quarter 3 AR, RTII, Title I and formative classroom instruction. Upon completion of testing, individual learning paths will be generated for each student via “Exact Path”.)

January/February 2023

  • Jan. 23rd - Feb. 3rd: LB & PK Study Island Benchmark for 3rd-8th (Math & ELA)

    • Grade level meetings to analyze testing data at all buildings

March 2023

  • March  - May : 

    • PASA Testing - ALL Subjects - Get it done early, please.

  • March 13th - 24th: 

    • HS Algebra I students & LB/Penn Kidder Campus Grade 8 Algebra I students CDT Testing

    • Study Island Benchmark Testing for HS ELA & Biology

April 2023

  • Quarter 4 Assessments (Q4 starts April 3rd)

    • K - STAR Early Literacy Testing

    • 1-8 STAR Reading & Math Testing (Results used for Quarter 4 AR, RTII, Title I and formative classroom instruction. Upon completion of testing, individual learning paths will be generated for each student via “Exact Path”.)

April 24th - 28th:

  •  PSSA ELA Grades 3 - 8

May 2023

  • May 1st - 12th:

    • PSSA Math (Grades 3 - 8) & PSSA Science (Grades 4 & 8)

    • PSSA Make-up Window

  • May 8th - May 15th:

    • K - 2 End of Year District Math and Reading Benchmarks

  • May 15th - May 22nd:

    • Grades 3-7 End of Year District Math and Reading Benchmarks

  • May 15th - 26th: 

    • Spring Keystones Algebra I, Literature and Biology at the HS & Grade 8 Algebra I students at LB & PK (online)
