Peer tutoring links students with others who may be struggling. During their time together, they review and reinforce skills for mastery. It promotes academic gains as well as social enhancement.  Students dedicate time out of their own school day to help others. 

Student of the Month

The student of the month must be a diligent student, completing his/her assignments on time, and showing strong effort to learn subject material.  The student of the month demonstrates excellent behavior inside and outside the classroom, is well-mannered, and respectful to peers.  The student uphold the qualities of our TORCH behavioral system.  Students are selected by classroom and/or grade level teachers

Student Torch Assistance Team (STAT)

Students apply to join a team.  The team assists in classrooms, help new students, fundraise, participate in community service and create school spirit.

10 random teachers will each receive 1 ticket every month to be filled out for a student going above and beyond expectations.
Students will have their picture taken and displayed in the lobby.
