The Carbon Career and Technical Institute is currently offering a program for students entering 9th grade. Five students from the L. B. Morris and five students from the Penn-Kidder Campus will be selected for this program. Students will enter CCTI as 9th grade students, and will select the programs which they would like to pursue. Students will then participate in each program for 6 weeks to briefly experience what each career path would entail. The students will then have the opportunity to shadow in the other two areas of their choice. In addition, all students in the pilot program will be receiving their core classes (English, Math, etc.) at CCTI. Students will be selected by a team of faculty and staff, and selection will be based on academics (students must be passing all classes), attendance, behavior, and overall work ethic.

Note: If a student is not chosen for the pilot program, he/she will still have the opportunity to enroll in CCTI in 10th grade.
