Ms. Rhonda Hope

L. B. Morris School

The L.B. Morris School nurse is Ms. Rhonda Hope. In 1997, Mrs. Hope started working at the Jim Thorpe Jr. High School as a Health Room Assistant where she cared for students in 7th and 8th grade. She worked there for 2 years until  transferred to the L.B. Morris School. She was hired as a Certified School Nurse in 1999. Here at the L.B. Morris School she cares for students in Pre-K through 8th grade.

Ms. Hope received her R.N. Diploma from Pottsville Hospital School Of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University, and her Certificate of School Nursing at Cedar Crest College. She also completed her Master of Science degree from Wilkes University in Classroom Technology.

Ms. Hope is a member of the Carbon County School Nurses Association, National Education Association, Pennsylvania State Education Association, Jim Thorpe Education Association and Jim Thorpe PTA. She also serves on the Jim Thorpe Area School District's Wellness Council.
